Dylan Joe Turpanjian was born in Hackensack, New Jersey, with a pencil in his hand. Sketching at any chance he got with any materials he was given until eventually, his sketches turned into brush strokes. Today, Dylan is a self-taught artist but, learning everyday.
"Re-Animation” has become Dylan's specialty.
In addition to his own original artwork, he particularly has a passion in taking well-known characters, scenes and subjects then fusing them together to bring a new painting to life!
As well as using a brush, Dylan has been using his words to paint vivid images in the minds of his audience from a young age. Since then, he's traveled all over the world from L.A. to Tokyo, learning to transform all his encounters and experiences into improvised, exaggerated/comedic scenarios.
He now integrates those skills into developing characters in a world of his own by drawing digital storyboards and bringing his once spoken tales to life with the magic of animation!
Although painting and visual storytelling are therapeutic practices for Dylan, he takes great pride in making sure each of his works are 100% perfected by his standards.
